So-it's been a great
day! The sun is SHINING and it's warm! It feels like a cool summer
day back home. I l-o-v-e it! The week has been pretty good as
well. We didn't have a lot of lessons or anything. James was out of
town all week. Leticia has been really sick. We had a really good
lesson with a less active in the ward, we watched the video finding faith in
Christ. She feels like she isn't close to Him, she knows He came, and
performed miracles, and did all that...but she doesn't feel like she knows
Him. So we talked about the Atonement and how he suffered back then, but
it still applies today. He still feels sad when we're sad, He is happy
when we're happy, and he is there to help us overcome the things he already
overcame. She just started crying and said no one had ever told her that
before. The spirit was strong, and it was good!
So after we had our
meeting we got to go play football outside in the warm sunshine!!! It was
so great. I really like our zone...we're the only sisters, so we're kind
of the weirdos haha but that's okay. I'll tell you an embarrassing
story...we were all getting really hot playing outside so I went in to get a
drink. Everyone was still out sitting on the grass. As I was walking
outside, I gracefully (ha not) tripped on the bottom of the doorway, fell over
the steps, and landed on my hands and knees at the bottom. hhhhhaaaaaaaaa Oh
my. I didn't make a sound, there was just a 'thud' when I hit the
ground. I stood up and just starting laughing....aaannd so did everyone
else. I looked like the little kid on the playground that falls and
scrapes their hands and knees
