How is everybody?? Sounds like you're doing good..and
it sounds sunny...no fair. :) Thanks for the letters and emails this week!
I love them so so much. I also got mom's graduation announcement in
the mail. Yay! So proud of our mom, she's growing up so fast. ;)
love ya mom! And happy birthday to Shannon tomorrow! I can't believe
you'll be 14! Please stop growing up...we can run away to never never
land together. ha
So. We've had another good week. hmm. We
had a pretty amazing district meeting on Tuesday. A general authority
(can't remember the name) came and gave training to all the district leaders
and we did basically the same thing they did in their meeting. He talked
about why the culture of the mission was negative...why we don't get many
baptisms...he said, "You! It's because of each of you." Woah.
We talked a lot about that and planning and going by the spirit and we've
already seen a difference. We talked about Alma 23:13. After these
people were truly converted they knew they had to lay down their "weapons
of war"....so during the meeting we each took about ten minutes to pray
and ask Heavenly Father what weapons of war were we holding onto that we needed
to lay down to change ourselves and our missionary work. The spirit was
strong and we all shared with each other some of the things so we can help each
other work on them. Then we took about ten more minutes to pray and ask
Heavenly Father what we could do to change. It was really uncomfortable
for all of us haha cause we have a lot to work on, but it was so good because
now we can change and be better.
