From President Brown
"The hike up Pratt’s hill in fine
weather with the returning missionaries on Tuesday was in stark contrast to the
following day when the heavens opened and bathed us all in torrents of living
water (it must have been living because it wriggled its way into every coat and
hat – even my welly boots gathered some). The assistants tell me – “yes we’ve
had rain before but never like that!” The wonderful thing is that nobody made
any complaint and in fact all seemed to actually enjoy it – I certainly did and
in spite of the rain I felt the spirit’s influence amongst us. This
manifestation of the determination of our new missionaries to succeed was most
uplifting to see."
